Riveting story by a new author

January 21, 2009

ratingA fascinating tale about Taylor Blackmore, a true Renaissance man, and his artist father, Montyne. The story seamlessly weaves fact and fiction to create a “can’t stop reading” novel. What do love, gold, a missing limousine, game fixing, photo negatives and priceless art have to do with one another? Read the story and find out! I’m looking forward to Taylor’s next adventures.

This was a stimulating book from beginning to end. I could actually see the book come to life and I can honestly say it was very difficult to put down. I sure hope there is a sequel or movie coming soon. I say buy it!

Montyne’s InfernoJanuary 9, 2009

The book that reads like a classic motion picture, speaks to your heart and soul. As the son of the world famous artist, Sudbury uses words like a great artist uses his brushes. Sudbury’s father Montyne, described by his family and great friends as The Great Montyne in reference to his spiritual, God-like, warrior characteristics, was a man whose intense desire was to create explosive art, and whose images explored his own unique vision of those eternal questions of haven, earth, and that Inferno called Hell. Likewise, we find that truth and lies clash in Montyne’s Inferno that overpower us mere mortals. L. Sudbury’s writing skills are sharp, clear, crisp and easy to read because his writing takes us right to the core of who we are. Look deep enough and you will find a little bit of yourself in each of his characters. In this epic action romantic drama, L. Sudbury’s Montyne’s Inferno fills us with a question – Why do we treat ourselves and each other the way we do?

Reading is one of my favorite things to do. And I read lots of books. The proof for me about great books is always how I feel after I finish the book. When I finished this story I was sorry it was over. I wanted to read more … And that is why I say PLEASE write more. Anyone who likes to read a good story just be warned… your going to have to play catch up on your daily duties that will go undone after you finish this book cause once you start you won’t want to do anything else. Well worth it!! Kudos to the author. And I am a new fan waiting for the next story with these characters in it.
